Sex Trafficking Services
EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY AGAINST SEX TRAFFICKING AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:
First Nations Community HealthSource’s Education and Advocacy against Sex Trafficking (EAST) is dedicated to supporting Native American/Alaskan Native victims of sex trafficking in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding Tribal communities. The EAST program provides advocacy, prevention education, and essential case management services to victims by linking them to resources and services that protect their safety. SERVICES PROVIDED:
EAST provides a wide range of case management services to support Native American/Alaskan Native victims of sex trafficking, including women, men, youth, and LGBTQ individuals residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and surrounding Tribal communities. In addition to offering case management, the program is actively involved in weekly community outreach initiatives and conducts presentations to families, healthcare providers, and communities to raise awareness about the issue of sex trafficking. EAST aims to educate and inform stakeholders about the challenges faced by victims of sex trafficking. The program also offers victim advocacy services and facilitates referrals to external community partners to ensure a comprehensive support system for its clients.

EAST MISSION:
The mission of EAST is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to victims of sex trafficking through the provision of victim services, trained advocacy, public media outreach, education, and community collaborations.
Housing Assistance Program
This program provides temporary housing assistance to survivors of human trafficking. Services include the following:
- Housing/Rental Assistance
- Housing Searches and Placement
- Move-in Assistance
- Case Management Services
- Housing Inspections
- Assistance with Securing Permanent Housing
