
HIV/AIDS Prevention and Case Management
Our HIV Prevention Team provides culturally considerate care and services which are responsive to the needs of individuals and groups within our statewide communities.
The Following are provided free of charge to all interested individuals:
- HIV/STD/Hepatitis education
- Workshops for Native Women
- Workshops for People Living with HIV/AIDS
- Referral to Syringe Exchange
- Free Rapid HIV testing and Counseling
- Workshops for Native Gay Men
- Workshops for Native Transgender Women
- In House Referrals

The program also operates the HIV Services Program (HSP) which provides the following case management services statewide for individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS:
- Medical and Non-Medical Case Management
- Transportation Reimbursement
- In House Referrals
- Client Advocacy
- Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling
- Emergency Rental/Utilities Assistance
- Clinical Care
- Referral to Work Re-Entry Assistance

In partnership with the New Mexico Community AIDS Partnership and United Way, First Nations Community HealthSource also operates a Food Pantry for individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS in Albuquerque.
